1    What do you like most about your job?

I absolutely love making people happy with my job! It's the best part.

2    How/where do you live?

I've recently moved into an apartment in Leuven. It's an expansive open space with a small hallway leading to a separate bedroom and bathroom. The place has hardwood floors, plenty of windows on two sides, and an open kitchen. I specifically wanted to avoid living in a "boxy white cube," so I'm really happy our apartment has these unique, sloped walls. It's spacious and always a delight to come home to.

3    What is your favourite spot in the house?

Definitely our couches. They're perfect for total relaxation. One is a small couch by the window, ideal for morning reading in the sunlight. The other, larger couch is great for evening TV sessions, although it's almost too comfortable to leave.

4    Which item in your own home do you cherish the most?

The paintings I've made myself. They're very dear to me, not just because I find them beautiful, but also because I know the amount of time and effort I've put into them.

5    Which colour always puts you in a good mood?

Orange! A bright, vibrant orange always manages to instantly boost my mood.

6    What tip would you give to people who want to revamp their interior but don't know where to start?

"Don't be afraid to use a statement piece that stands out. Start with it and let the rest of your interior revolve around it." This advice has encouraged me to be bold in my design choices, resulting in a living space that feels uniquely 'me'.

7   What is your ultimate tip for creating an ambient space?

Use lots of mood lighting. In the evenings, smaller lights and candles can create a much cosier atmosphere than overhead lights.

8   What is the most valuable piece of interior design advice you have ever received and how has it influenced you?

"Simply choose things that you like and that make you happy." This piece of advice has deeply influenced my approach to decorating my home. As a result, my interior is quite eclectic, a collection of items gathered over the years. But what makes it special is that many of these items have a fun story or a beautiful memory attached to them.

9   Which trends in the interior design world currently appeal most to you?

I'm really drawn to colorful interiors at the moment. They feel playful and vibrant. I'm especially fond of striped and "checkered" patterns; they catch my eye every time.

10   Which design item is currently your favourite?

The Toolbox by Vitra is absolutely my favourite right now. It's perfect for storing small items, and it's available in my favourite colour!

11   What are some of your favourite interior design and lifestyle blogs, influencers or sources for inspiration?

Yunji_yi, coloursofarley, and Smukke.jem are some of my go-to sources for inspiration.

12   What is your favourite way to relax after a busy day at work?

Going dancing or working out with my boyfriend, or meeting up (aka eating out) with friends.

13   What is your favourite travel destination?

Vietnam. It has everything: nature, cities, tranquility, history, culture, and beaches. Travel there is easy and flexible, the people are incredibly welcoming, and of course, the food is fantastic.

14   How would you describe your colleagues in 1 word?

Indispensable.

15   Can you tell us an interesting fact about yourself that most people don't know?

I make the best granola for my friends and family as a little side hustle.

16   What is your favourite café/restaurant in Brussels?

For breakfast or lunch, it's Kafei (they have fluffy pancakes that are out of this world!). For dinner, Yamayu Santasu is my pick (the sushi is just like in Japan).

17   What is your favourite song at the moment?

I've recently rediscovered "Fighter" by Christina Aguilera. It's such an energizing song and an instant mood booster.
