Evelina Kroon wool rug - shaggy

Soft volume, graphic expression and a modern take on the traditional rya rug. Designed by Swedish artist Evelina Kroon, this handcrafted rug is made from 100% New Zealand wool and woven into long, shaggy piles that highlight tactility, rhythm and sculptural softness. A contemporary interpretation of classic Scandinavian craftsmanship.

This rug is part of Evelina Kroon’s second collaboration with Layered, where she once again brings her bold graphic compositions into expressive, painterly textiles. The collection features five handwoven rya rugs inspired by the historic Scandinavian rya tradition, which dates back to 15th century Norway.
