Barteld & Jonas / Blind Gekocht

Barteld and Jonas can easily be seen living in a trendy loft in the city, but we found them a place in the green surroundings of Sint-Katelijne-Waver. The gentlemen do not came alone: their nando's, pig, goats, chicken, ducks, etc were also looking for a new home! We found them a challenging project, with a meadow for all the animals.

Entering the house...

gives you a warm welcome! The entrance hall is very spacious and can definitely have the darker moody colours. The black & white original flooring combines perfectly with the dark aubergine (Shade Superior wall paint - matte 4E - Tomate Brune) walls and ceiling and the pink (Shade Floors & Stairs finish 4C - Velours) stairs.

Upstairs ...

You will find the master bedroom, a spare bedroom and a dressing room. The master bedroom was transformed into a relaxed space with a wink to the love for their animals.

The new bathroom...

was also given a fresh but sober yet surprising look. We combined the existing dark flooring in the room with other light and dark blue tiles for a tough vibe. 

Colours & materials...

are alternated with surprising textures and industrial elements to create an elegant but contemporary atmosphere. Throughout the house, a bold colour palette is used, that together with noble materials and cool details provide that extra touch.

In the living room...

the oak herringbone parquet immediately sets the tone. The 2 green sofas show how you can create a unique atmosphere with different textures and materials. The green wall is a surprising eye-catcher, bringing the surroundings inside.

The Kitchen....

in a refined sand-coloured tones is an oasis of peace, where a few details make the difference. The shiny tiles, for instance, add some extra sparkle.
