Julie & Philippe

Kitchen Design

Brussels, 2018

This kitchen could be the star of the interior. As the final step in the renovations, Julie & Philippe asked for a practical kitchen space that offered ample storage space, while keeping things fun and light. Taking full advantage of the space, we design wall-to-ceiling cabinets stretching out into the dining area. We opted for light materials, like pine plywood cabinets and light grey flooring. The contrasting natural and composite stones add a nice contrast while injecting a dash of colour. The cupboards are laid out in a playful offset pattern, making the overall look more dynamic, and are finished with custom made slanted door handles. This mix-and-match of materials adds plenty of character to the kitchen. Keeping a nice balance between unexpected playfulness and elegant practicality, it’s a prime example of La Fabrika’s signature style.
