Niels and Annemie’s place has many traditional Haussmannian elements. We preserved those authentic touches - high ceilings, large rooms, wooden floors, white walls - but added a modern twist. To make the authentic elements stand out, and to blend in well, we opted for a sober colour palette, with a black and white scheme throughout the apartment. The high-quality materials like the solid wooden flooring and 'green velvet' stone work well with the grandeur of the space. Now, the modern take on a traditional look is the ideal backdrop for the owners’ collection of Scandinaviann and Italian furniture, mixed with some nice vintage pieces. A refined interior, effortlessly blending old and new.
