Talia & Jaida / Blind Gekocht

With only 15K left to furnish Talia and Jaida's new home, creativity was the name of the game. Jaida's health condition meant their home had to be a cosy haven, a place to forget her limitations.  So, bargain hunting and refurbishing second-hand treasures became the norm.

Despite the small space, Kelly got creative and carved out different nooks for to chill and play. The ultimate treat? A princess room fit for a queen like Jaida. With an overall light and airy feel, their home is the perfect retreat for both ladies to feel at ease.

The living room

As soon as you enter the house and step into Talia and Jaida's living room, you'll feel a sense of calm wash over you. Soft, light colors create a spacious and airy feel, while unique textures bring a sense of intrigue to the space. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with playful touches that make you feel right at home. The overall design is organic and natural, with a subtle nod to the relaxing vibes of a vacation retreat. This is a living room that's all about comfort, coziness, and making you feel relaxed and rejuvenated.

The Bathroom

The bathroom design is all about making the most of a small space with a white vanity to brighten things up. Jaida's dream of having a relaxing soak inspired the combo of a shower and bath, perfect for easing her persistent pains. But it's not just about function - a round mirror with soft lighting adds a warm and inviting glow, making it a practical and pretty place. Plus, the terrazzo-inspired flooring ties in perfectly with the Ibiza-inspired decor throughout the rest of the home. This bathroom is the perfect blend of style and substance, making it a bright, functional, and inviting space.
