Mynt - plywood 4-star base

The universal chair Mynt by Erwan Bouroullec combines the appealing home-like aesthetic of a studio chair with a completely new dynamic sitting experience.

The core element is its patented mechanism, which is activated by body weight and tilts forwards or backwards depending on shifts in the sitter's position – with the seat moving independently of the backrest. The movement resistance automatically adapts to the user's weight – only the height has to be adjusted.

Mynt is built for sustainability and longevity with user-replaceable parts like upholstery, glides, and castors, and service-replaceable seat and backrests made of recycled plastic or wood. It’s made from up to 86% recycled materials, 99% recyclable, and features V-Foam—the first economically recyclable polyurethane foam, developed by Vitra and BASF.
