Meet Raphaëlle...

Our delightful shop manager who never fails to brighten your day! Whether you require assistance or seek insightful advice, Raphaëlle is your go-to person, always ready with a warm smile and a treasure trove of knowledge.

1    What is your role at La Fabrika?

As shop manager, I am dedicated to welcoming and guiding our customers to make the perfect purchase for their interiors. In addition, I actively participate in the selection process of beautiful items for our showroom. I cherish and support the creativity and individuality of my team members, as I believe our stunning showroom depends on the passion and commitment of this fantastic team!

2    What do you like most about your job?

Our lovely customers. That shared passion and wonderful team spirit. The constant search together for opportunities and improvements. Bringing clients what really makes them happy and challenging them towards more colour and style.

3    How/where do you live?

I live in a downstairs flat with a fine city garden in Jette (Brussels)

4    What is your favourite spot in the house?

Obviously the kitchen/dining room ! And in dry weather the garden where even in winter I like to sit, well wrapped up, with a cup of coffee.

5    Which colour always puts you in a good mood?

Blue, actually the colours of the North Sea.  A variation of grey-blue, green-blue ...beautiful! 

6    What tip would you give to people who want to revamp their interior but don't know where to start?

Come and see us!!! In the shop, you will already get a lot of inspiration and we will be happy to guide you through the next steps.

7   What is your ultimate tip for creating an ambient space?

Make use of different materials and textures and provide plenty of atmospheric lighting.

8   What is the most valuable piece of interior design advice you have ever received and how has it influenced you?

Dare to experiment! You will discover surprising combinations and unexpected, unique possibilities that will bring your interior to life.

9   Which trends in the interior design world currently appeal most to you?

The focus on creating a cosy and attractive outdoor space around the house.

10   Which design item is currently your favourite?

My favourite item is definitely our Shade paint! Although not technically an item, you can do so much with it. It allows you to create spaces, adjust mood and accentuate certain elements. Paint really is a versatile medium that can have a big impact on the look and feel of a room.

11   What is your favourite way to relax after a busy day at work?

Sipping a delicious apero.

12   How would you describe your colleagues in 1 word?

Love them!  Ok... two words ;)

13   Can you tell us an interesting fact about yourself that most people don't know?

Although I speak Dutch with a Dutch accent, I am actually a French-speaking Belgian born in Uganda.

14   What is your favorite song at the moment?

"Oh, what a beautiful morning" from Count Basie en Ray Charles.
