Few chairs have earned the right to be called icons. The Eames Plastic Chair is one of them. Charles and Ray Eames designed it as the first chair ever made from plastic for industrial production — and decades later, the shape still looks right.

The RE version brings the design up to date: the shell is made from recycled plastic, without changing anything about what makes it work. The organic form fits the body naturally, the shell combines with different bases, and it looks equally at home around a dining table, at a desk, or pulled into a corner as an extra seat.
