A beloved part of the &Tradition collection, the Flowerpot lamp is an icon of Danish design. Debuted by Verner Panton in 1968, the acclaimed designer produced numerous sketches of Flowerpot – yet the wall lamp version never made its way to production.
Providing a soft and warm light, Pendant Light AMA500 is of mid-size and composed of sheet steel. Suitable as a single light source over a dining table or desk, its generous width sheds a substantial amount of light downwards.
While experimenting with the reflections and refraction of light, designer Samuel Wilkinson discovered a beautiful quilted effect when the light source was surrounded by patterned glass. This led to his design of the Blown series.
